Drive shaft maintenance
1. Check the connection of flange bolts at both ends of the transmission shaft, and tighten them in time if they are loose.
2. Fill lubricating ester in time (it should be noted that when filling grease for the cross shaft, the grease gun must use force to lubricate the four needle roller bearings, and the grease for the transmission shaft expansion joint should not be too much to avoid damage to the dust cover).
Rear axle maintenance
1. Inspect the rear axle for oil leakage.
2. After use, check the temperature rise of the rear axle package. It is normal to press the rear axle package gently by hand. Otherwise, if the temperature is too high, check the quantity and quality of the oil in the axle package, and add or replace it in time.
3. During driving, pay attention to whether the rear axle has abnormal noise. Generally, when the bevel gear of the final drive is excessively worn and the preload of the bevel bearing is too small, abnormal noise will occur, which is more obvious when the throttle is changed.
4. Usually, pay attention to the total clearance of the rear axle. The method is: pad the two rear wheels, set the neutral and release the hand brake, and rotate the transmission shaft by hand to visually check or feel the gap size.
