1. Raise the front of the vehicle with a jack. Place the jack at the front of the frame to ensure stability. Drain the transmission fluid to prevent leakage. Install the transmission filler plug;
2. Prepare a container for fluid and disconnect the transmission drain plug. The integrity of the propeller shaft assembly is ensured by creating reference marks. Remove the mounting clip or bolt to drive the drive shaft;
3. Remove the transmission shaft from the transmission by removing the yoke. The needle roller bearing to prevent collision shall be fixed with tape to the bearing cover. Stabilize on the auxiliary transmission shaft. Delete the tape. Remove the retaining ring from the yoke;
4. Use sockets of different sizes and levers provided by vises to keep the bearing caps away from the yoke. Push the cover onto the assembly with pliers. Turn the transmission shaft around the vice and repeat the previous process at the other end;
5. The universal joint of the two yoke frames and the transmission shaft will be connected. Remove all dirt and debris from the entire drive shaft assembly to ensure that it is completely clean. Apply a small amount of grease to the replacement cover. Insert the bearing cover into the yoke and replace the bearing cover;
6. Install the universal joint into the cover. Partially insert the opposing cap. Line up the universal joints and push the cover to the proper position with a press. Insert the snap ring. Position of the drive shaft. Verify that the yoke is correctly aligned with the drive shaft.
